This property consists of 9 buildings with 68 residential buildings which were originally constructed in 1980. The Board of Directors engaged our team to investigate and prepare a scope of work for a full asphalt overlay of the existing parking and driveway areas in addition to improvements to the stormwater conveyance system, as well as full replacement of all concrete curbing.
We began by investigating the existing storm water conveyance system to enable new civil drawings to be prepared in conjunction with the asphalt overlay process. Once the civil drawings were completed and approved by the municipality, our team prepared bid documents so that the project could be competitively bid. Following the start of construction, our team provided course of construction inspections and project management services through the close out process.
The final scope included drainage improvements at 14 units, full grinding and overlay of all asphalt areas, and installation of new extruded concrete curbing, striping, stenciling, and numbering of all parking areas.
